MEMBERSHIP

The NCWA is made up of a diverse group of people from different countries, organizations, religious and political affiliation. Any individual, subject to meeting some basic criteria, can become a member of the NCWA. The candidate has to fill in the application form and pay the annual membership fee.

The candidates are expected to accept the following:

  • Agree to the core principles that all activities of the NCWA must be based on the norms of international law, democratic values, and principles of justice. And that the ultimate effects of the NCWA’s activities must have a universal value for all the humanity.
  • Recognize the need for having an authorized representative body of Western Armenians, responsible for defending the collective rights of Western Armenians in courts as well as facilitating the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.

The members are entitled to the following:

  • Engaging in the activities of the NCWA and obtaining voting rights for participating in the decision-making process on policies and programs of the NCWA.
  • Receiving compensation for material and moral damages as a descendant of Western Armenians in the case of such ruling by courts and tribunals.
